The Trauma Survivors Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation in the State of Delaware. The money raised through donations from caring individuals goes directly to providing services at a national level. Anyone and everyone is affected by trauma and crisis. We want to help those who need our support.
The Trauma Survivors Foundation goal is to improve the lives of children and families who have experienced a traumatic event and help them learn to live life again.
Those impacted: We provide mental health services through a network of trained trauma therapists.
Those who want to help: We grant scholarships to high school and college seniors who are seeking careers in the mental health field in order to promote further research into trauma psychology.
First Responders : We help firefighters, police and EMS with scholarships to attend approved training classes. We train emergency service personnel to provide crisis intervention when a traumatic event occurs.
Since the beginning of the Foundation:
25,000 INDIVIDUALS HELPED THROUGH CRISIS INTERVENTION
1,500 TRAINED TRAUMA THERAPISTS AND CRISIS INTERVENTIONISTS
1,100 CRISIS RESPONSES
5 YEARS OF SERVICE IN THE COMMUNITY
