In 1968, Milton and Patricia Koonce founded a small private school located in the North Channel Area that is now called Family Christian Academy. The first school season began in the fall of 1968 with a kindergarten class of just sixteen students. It now serves approximately 300 students from grades Pre-K3 through 12th grade and is celebrating its’  50th YEAR!  FCA’s mission statement is:

“To Touch The World Through Its’ Students Who Have Been Fully Equipped To Do So…..”

As a part of its’ educational program, FCA is proud to have partnered with San Jacinto Community College to extend a Dual Credit Program for those students who qualify and would like to pursue early entrance at the post-secondary level of education.

FCA Students, who qualify, may also earn their Associates Degree through San Jac’s MECCA Program.
