Founded in 1894, Glen Ridge Country Club is recognized by the USGA as one of the first 100 clubs in the United States. The recently completed construction restored the course to its original Willie Park Jr. design.
The challenging 18 hole regulation course features four teeing areas on every hole for various skill levels. A stone-walled brook must be crossed on the approach shot of four holes and ponds come into play on several others.
The course measures 6,123 yards and is said to be "the longest 6,000 yards you will ever play." From the blue tees, the slope rating is 134 and USGA rating of 70.3, and from the red tees, the slope rating is 136 and USGA rating is 73.0.
